To make life a lot easier for users of my Greasemonkey scripts, I have written an all-in-one jobbie that not only allows you to extract data from loads of genealogy websites but also it lets you know when it has been updated.
The all-in-one script can be used to extract information from websites such as FreeBMD, FreeREG, Ancestry, Familysearch, and many more. The information from the website is copied to your clipboard at the press of a button for you to paste into whatever application you happen to use thereby saving a lot of typing and/or traditional copying and pasting.
Once you are logged in to the Williams Family Tree website, the new script can be found on the Greasemonkey page.
It is important that you delete or disable all of the previous Williams Family Tree Greasemonkey scripts before you install this new one to avoid any conflicts.
The script automatically checks to see if there is a newer version on the site and will pop-up a message to let you know if there is one. You then get the option of installing the new version or not. The script will not harm your computer and it will not extract any information contained on your computer. It simply modifies the relevant web pages slightly to make the extraction of the data much easier.
Please let me know if you find any other websites where this script could be useful.
Enjoy.
