He was the son of John Bray and Mary Ann Price. <a title=\"Jane Moore\" href=\"http:\/\/www.williamsfamilytree.co.uk\/tree\/getperson.php?tree=wft&amp;personID=I84847\">Jane Moore<\/a> was born 1831 in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Moore. Seth and Jane married 17 May 1853 and the marriage was registered in Plymouth, Devonshire.<\/p>\n<p>On 21 Jan 1855 they boarded the &#8216;Sultana&#8217; and headed for New South Wales, Australia. They arrived there on 29 May 1955. The first of their 15 children, <a title=\"William Henry Bray\" href=\"http:\/\/www.williamsfamilytree.co.uk\/tree\/getperson.php?personID=I84897&amp;tree=wft\">William Henry Bray<\/a>, was born 23 May 1855 in quarantine aboard the vessel.<\/p>\n<p>It was their great grand-daughter (via David Thomas Bray and Francis George Bray) who married into the Dawson family. Her name was <a title=\"Kathleen Ethel Bray\" href=\"http:\/\/www.williamsfamilytree.co.uk\/tree\/getperson.php?personID=I68743&amp;tree=wft\">Kathleen Ethel Bray<\/a> and she married <a title=\"Kenneth Keith Dawson\" href=\"http:\/\/www.williamsfamilytree.co.uk\/tree\/getperson.php?personID=I68715&amp;tree=wft\">Kenneth Keith Dawson<\/a> in 1942.
