Hi there, I came across your site looking for my gt gt gt grandfather. My gt gt grandfather is Thomas Collinge born August 29 1807 but I can't get any further back ! I see you also have info about my more recent Collinge ancestors including my late father Vincent Crompton Collinge. I'm happy to fill in some more details but wonder if you know anything pre. 1807. Many thanks

Hi Geoff, All the information we currently have on the Collinge family is already on the website. However, things tend to change on a daily basis and as soon as I am fully up and running again the site will be updated more regularly. Keep popping back as you never know ... Phil. P.S. We're always happy to receive more information 😉

Marcia Williams from South Africa is searching for her Welsh relatives. Her father was Willie (William) Daniel Williams born in Wales on the 6th of October 1924. He was an only child and he fought in WW2 for the RAF. He went to South Africa after the war and met Marcia's mother and married her about 1957. Willie's foster parents were Gradwell. His father died when he was young and Marcia's Williams grandmother died in Grahamstown after they emigrated to South Africa. This is all Marcia knows so if anyone can help please get in touch. Hello, I have just come upon your site as I was searching for 6 Haddington Street, Hove and see that my GGG-Grandmother was a lodger with William James Randall. I have found her 10 years later living with family in Brighton. I don't suppose you have found out why she was staying there have you? Son off to Brighton Uni so thought I'd do a bit of Brighton/Hove family history to do when visiting!

I am helping a friend who is researching her family tree. Her great Grandmother was Mahala Shreeve. Thanks for making this website, we found Thomas Shreeve's wife (Ann Bishop) this afternoon and I then found your website which confirmed what I had found on FindMyPast. I am now trying to find her parents. Regards Rita

Guess what? You just got the Yank cousin you always wanted 😄 The neat thing is my father had relatives that were "Boat People". Yes, they came to this side of the pond on the Mayflower.

Hi there, I'm on the trail of a cousin called marion grace hocken who was an artist in st Ives. She married Mervyn Paul and lived in Carbis Bay till she died in 1987 and your family tree has emerged as a connection. Still trying to figure out relationship as all aunties have passed on so was wondering if you might have any knowledge of her at all? Our famtree doesnt mention her but if we are related we have extensive info on ancestry.com which may be of interest, best wishes, Alex Coppock-Bunce

Hi. I came across this website while starting my own family tree. I can only hope mine ever gets as detailed as this one. My maternal grandmother was Doreen Alma Stone. I am about to have my first baby and she will have Alma as a middle name after grandma.

Thanks to the Williams Family Tree, I traced many of the Redshaw family, my ancesters, from the Armley, Leeds area. I am the grandson of Thomas Redshaw who emigrated to the Toronto, Canada area & married Daisy Rush. Some of the data on your site was not available on Ancestry.com. Thank you from all of the Carnelll's.

Hi Richard. Thank you for your kind comments. The Williams Family Tree is an on-going project and the Redshaw family is just a small part of it. Please call back occasionally as the site gets updated practically every week and there is often new information to be found. Also, if you have anything to add please let me know. Regards, Phil.

  1. I am researching the Trigg family, and a Thomas Trigg born around the turn of 1800 in Westbury on Severn. I find however that there are three people named Thomas Trigg registered on the parish record then viz–
Thomas Trigg christened 1799 born to William and Elizabeth Trigg
Thomas Trigg christened 8th February 1801 born to Jonathan and Frances Trigg
Thomas Trigg christened on 15th November 1801 born to William and Eleanor Trigg.
I can understand that we can probably discount the earlier one but may I ask you please how you determined which of the remaining two Thomas’s is your man i e the son of Jonathan and Frances. There were no burials of a child called Thomas Trigg. Thank you.
